Proactive Patrolling

In the early hours of Friday the 3rd of April, leading up to the long bank holiday weekend, Police were acting on information provided by members of the public in regards to unsafe drivers on the roads in and around the area near Sale Water Park. Following proactive patrols to ensure public safety to road users in the area, we were able to perform roadside checks and prevent unsafe drivers from continuing to use our road networks.

Thanks to this report, officers were able to take positive action and prevent any harm to road users by stopping a suspicious vehicle.

We continue to ask members of the public to report any concerns they have whilst out and about and remind those who are unfit to drive to remain off the roads.
